Privacy Policy

PetitJus Scheduler ("the App", "we", "us") is a desktop application that lets you schedule and publish videos to social media accounts you connect, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account profile info from platforms you connect (display name, avatar, account/user ID) to confirm the correct account is linked.
• Authentication tokens (OAuth access and refresh tokens) issued when you connect an account, used to publish on your behalf.
• Content you choose to publish (videos, captions, thumbnails, and the privacy/interaction settings you select).

We do not collect your platform passwords. We sign you in through each platform's official OAuth login.

How your information is stored

• Tokens and account info are stored encrypted on your own device and are not sent to any server we operate, except as needed to publish (below).
• For Instagram, a video may be temporarily uploaded to Cloudflare R2 so Instagram can fetch it, and is deleted after publishing.
• If you configure your own scheduling server (e.g., a Raspberry Pi), scheduled posts and the token needed to publish them are sent to your server only.

How we use your information

Solely to perform the actions you request: showing which account is linked, and scheduling and publishing content you create to the accounts you connect. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Sharing

We share information only with the platforms you connect (TikTok, YouTube, Meta) to carry out your posting requests, and with Cloudflare R2 for temporary video hosting as described above.

TikTok

With your permission, we access your TikTok profile (name and avatar) and use TikTok's Content Posting API to publish videos you create to your own account, using the settings you choose. We use only the scopes you approve.

Retention and revoking access

Tokens are kept until you disconnect the account in the App. You can revoke our access at any time in your TikTok settings (Manage app permissions), or the equivalent settings on other platforms. Temporary R2 videos are deleted after a post completes.

Security

Tokens are encrypted at rest on your device. No method of storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

The App is not intended for anyone under the minimum age required by the platforms you connect (at least 13).

Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the effective date above.
